Yvette Cushman-Baton joyfully serves as the Director and Lead Teacher of Triskelee Sprouts Farm School. She works with and oversees a team of other teaching staff to provide a holistic and well-rounded learning environment for children. Immediately prior to this role, Yvette worked for 13 years both in the classroom and as the Administrator of SunGarden Montessori Children's House. Yvette was also a founding member of Molalla River Academy Charter School, and the Administrative Liaison for Open Montessori Initiative (OMI) for three years. Yvette has worked as a pedagogical school consultant, parent coach and educational mentor.
Yvette has experience working with a variety of livestock, farm animals and pets, and has deep appreciation for the outdoors. She believes that the opportunity for children to have experiences with animals and nature creates an essential and life-long foundation for learning and connection. She raised her two children on four acres in Molalla, where she currently lives.
In addition to Yvette's wealth of professional knowledge and experience, it is her deep-rooted calling to offer children a safe space in which they can be their most authentic selves that makes her such a strong guide to both the community and pedagogy at the heart of Triskelee Sprouts Farm School.

Lauren Guarrasi is one of three individuals on the Triskelee Sprouts teaching team. After receiving her AMI-Montessori accreditation in 2022, Lauren left a corporate job to follow her heart working with children in an environment that felt more authentic to what she knew learning could be. She fell in love with Triskelee Farm on a farm tour and quickly found common values within the Triskelee Sprouts approach to exploratory learning in nature as she sought the next step in her teaching journey. Lauren joined the Sprouts family this summer working at camps, getting to know many of the school-children already. Lauren has a deep reverence for integrating nature's wisdom, combined with a holistic approach to experiential learning for young children. She also has a passion for cooking, baking, and sharing the importance of nourishing our bodies from the inside-out with food as medicine. Lauren is currently enjoying newlywed life and is looking forward to raising children of her own with the values that she practices at Triskelee Sprouts!
